Lestari Advisors is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) through the Advancing Resilient Industries for Sustainable Economy (ARISE) program. ARISE is a three-year initiative (2026–2029) designed to strengthen Indonesia’s green industrial transition by embedding continuous learning between sovereign investment and fiscal policy. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing inclusive and sustainable industrial development in Indonesia, particularly in the context of accelerating green industrial policy and financing.
Through ARISE, Lestari Advisors and UNIDO will explore the financing ecosystem required to support Indonesia’s emerging green industries, including identifying sectors that require strategic public and blended finance interventions. Early discussions have emphasized the importance of understanding why commercial financing alone may not be sufficient for industrial transformation, and what forms of financing are needed to unlock investment in strategic sectors such as renewable energy and sustainable manufacturing.
As part of the partnership, the organizations will work toward producing a series of studies and stakeholder engagements to inform policymakers, financial institutions, and industry actors on pathways to finance Indonesia’s green industrial transition. The initiative will also engage stakeholders across government, private sector, and financial communities to strengthen the ecosystem needed to mobilize investment for resilient and sustainable economic development.
